Hamburg is a village located in Calhoun County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 126.
Hamburg is located at 39°13'53" North, 90°42'58" West (39.231277, -90.716207).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.7 km2 (0.7 mi2). 1.3 km2 (0.5 mi2) of it is land and 0.3 km2 (0.1 mi2) of it is water. The total area is 19.70% water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 126 people, 60 households at a value of $79,982.64, and 39 families residing in the village. The population density was 93.6/km2 (241.5/mi2). There were 94 housing units at an average density of 69.8/km2 (180.2/mi2). The racial makeup of the village was 99.91% White, and 0.09% from two or more races.
There were 60 households out of which 25.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.7% were married couples living together, 8.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.0% were non-families. 35.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
